Born Dublin, enjoyed everywhere
You must be wondering who we are? There's nothing better than a little history lesson…
We were born when a not-for-profit festival in Dublin asked us to help them out with their ticketing system. Not ones to turn down a challenge we threw ourselves in at the deep end. We soon realised that we could build Grade A software to facilitate ticketing, both online and at the box office. At the same time we could do it without crippling service or license fees.
People liked what they saw and soon emails and phone calls flooded in from other events, venues and festivals who needed a simple but complete system. The market cried out and we answered. Now we enjoy relationships with clients across the events industry, include arts, sport and leisure. The results speak for themselves.
Wexford Festival Opera is Irelands Blue Ribbon Opera event, it exists to promote and enable national and international accessibility to the lyrical arts, providing a platform for popular opera through a diverse programme of shows and events. 
The DIFF is an annual event that runs for two weeks showcasing the best in international film. Screening over 100 movies across 5 venues to over 30,000 patrons, the festival is the biggest film event in Ireland. 
The Dublin Fringe needed an integrated and cost-effective, solution to rejuvenate sales at box office and online. TicketSolve was used as the full service ticketing provider. We received extremely positive reactions from the team. Our system was identified as simple to use and key to the success of the Festival. 
Artists & arts lovers regard Mermaid Arts Centre as one of Ireland’s leading arts communities. They present approximately 200 shows per year including music, dance, theatre, comedy, opera, local arts, cinema, children’s shows and visual art exhibitions. 
In little over 12 years Komedia has grown from an 80 seat venue, hosting novice performers such as Graham Norton and the League of Gentlemen, to become a producer of distinctive live and broadcast entertainment and the operator of one of the UK’s leading live entertainment.
