We started October off with a touch of glamour, attending our first ever UK Theatre Awards at London’s (gorgeous) Guildhall 🎉

This October at Ticketsolve

It was wonderful to meet both new & familiar faces at the Awards, and to celebrate Ticketsolve Community member Druid Theatre – their own Garry Hynes won Best Director for DruidO’Casey at the Lyric Belfast.

Everyone’s speeches – from the inspiring to the entertaining to the emotional – really gave us a lot to reflect on: from young people’s access to theatre, to what it really means to champion inclusion.

In November, we’ll be at the AMA’s Digital Marketing Day – if you’re attending, we’d love to see you: do pop over to our stand and say hi!

Adapting to Social Media Shifts

This month, we’ve  been chatting about audience behaviour and preferences on social media, how these are changing, especially amongst younger generations, and how arts and heritage organisations can adapt their social media strategies accordingly.

We were thrilled to welcome Meg Edwards, marketing manager at HdK associates to episode 28 of the Arts and Everything in Between podcast. She shared her full analysis of current social media shifts as well as actional tips and suggestions for organisations.

We we also summarised some of Meg’s key takeaways, from decreasing attention spans to the call for authenticity and changing algorithms, in our latest blog.
